Other Popeyes restaurant fights have emerged online this week amid the company's viral chicken sandwich feud with Chick-Fil-A, the unofficial king of fast food chicken after winning its fourth consecutive annual title as the nation's best fast food restaurant.
An additional fight video showing a woman brawling with a female Popeyes employee in the restaurant's waiting area was also posted on WorldStarHipHop on Friday. The second video has been viewed more than 149,000 times
This is the shocking moment an irate Popeyes customer leaped through a drive-thru window before brawling with three employees.
Cellphone footage of the incident, which has been viewed more than 132,000 in less than 24 hours, began with the angry customer yelling at a restaurant employee through the drive-thru window.
A staff member then tries to hit the customer, through the window, with a broom.
Suddenly the customer climbed through the window and wrestled with the female employee who was armed with the broom. Her male coworker intervened and enveloped the customer in a bear hug as two other employees hit and slap him.
The chaotic scene was recorded by someone sitting in a vehicle behind the attacker.
'Oh my God,' the person filming the video says as the fight continues to escalate.
The person who uploaded the video online added a caption claiming the fight started because the restaurant ran out of its new chicken sandwich.
Popeye's did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the fight. The Daily Mail could not immediately verify what started the brawl.
