Tashenna Campbell, 26, was filmed scratching and hitting Yasser Hadi on 14th Street in Atlanta, Georgia at around 9.40pm on Sunday 18 August 2019.
After climbing on top and inside Mr Hadi's vehicle, Campbell sinks her teeth into his left side causing the driver to scream in agony.
Campbell was arrested and charged with battery and criminal trespass on August 20, two days after the bizarre incident
The footage – which was filmed by onlooker and social media user @imsorico_ -begins with Campbell on the hood of Mr Hadi's car.
he is seen trying to push the windscreen wipers of his vehicle while Mr Hadi yells for her to 'get off my car' and witnesses ask her to 'stop.'
However Campbell continues damaging the vehicle, pushing her feet against the windscreen wipers until they break.
Campbell eventually jumps off the hood and hops inside of the car, causing Mr Hadi to try and stop her by grabbing hold of her hair.
The Uber driver swings Campbell out of the driver's seat and she lands on the floor as he once more says 'get out of my car.'
As Campbell gets back on her feet she stumbles slightly before swinging a punch at Hadi's head.
She then starts biting Mr Hadi on his left side, causing the driver to scream and squirm in pain.
He is heard screaming 'Oh my God! Oh my God!' as the shocked cameraman says 'she's biting you' and the clip cuts to an end.
Mr Hadi later told KABC-TV: 'The pain is horrible pain. A dog does not bite like this.'
Campbell is thought to still be in Grady Detention Center jail in Atlanta and police found she had warrants for a traffic offense and a simple assault in other counties.
She told officers that she had been at a pool party and when she noticed her purse was missing thought Mr Hadi and the bystanders had taken it, reports AJC.
Uber driver Hadi has been left traumatized by the attack and has set up a Go Fund Me set up to help cover his car repairs and medical expenses.
He revealed that he has been an Uber driver in Atlanta for four and a half years, and completed 11,500 trips
He said: 'I got attacked by a woman when I dropped off my rides. I don’t have medical insurance and I don’t have enough money for fixing my car too.'
@imsorico uploaded the video of the incident on social media with the caption 'Lol I can't make this up, Last night I witness the zombie apocalypse'.
The clip has gone viral on social media and received hundreds of comments with many online users expressing their astonishment at the attack.
@ChefDani23 wrote 'Woooooooooow!! I'm shook! I wouldn't even know what to do if I saw this…!'
